Growing up in landlocked Colorado, I have (either because of or in spite of that fact!) had a magnetic fascination with the ocean. This sculpture is a result of that inspiration and my desire to create a piece that gave the feel of the rising and tumbling waves, the power and strength of the ocean. **This piece was awarded Best of Show 3D in Fusion Arts’ “Lines, Shapes & Objects” show, June 2023.
