It seemed that many artists created works in response to the Covid pandemic, and this is mine. I’d had this color combination turning over in my head, trying to decide what I wanted to do with it, and as the world locked down in the spring of 2020, this piece started taking form. I feel strongly that no matter one’s religious or spiritual philosophy, the reminder that the sun does always rise again is powerful positivity in any challenging time.
